Napa Valley Community Foundation Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Napa Valley Community Foundation
If you are a Napa County high school senior, a teacher, a veteran, a Napa Valley College student, a Calistoga music student, a Napa County healthcare student, or an entry-level/non-supervisory winery or vineyard worker (or their dependent), you may qualify for one of our scholarships.
Important dates
- Year-round scholarships: accept applications at any time (funding awarded on a first-come, first-served basis).
- Annual scholarship window: January 5 – March 2, 2026. Deadline for submission: March 2, 2026.
- Note: Some awards are available year-round now; the once-a-year scholarships will open January 5, 2026.
Year-round scholarships (apply anytime)
- Robert Alexander Scott Scholarship — for vineyard/winery employees or their dependents and for students pursuing viticulture or enology certificates. (Funding is first-come, first-served.)
- Dr. Rick Bachman Memorial Veterinary Medicine Scholarship — for students working toward degrees or certificates in veterinary medicine or animal health. (Funding is first-come, first-served.)
Tips for year-round applicants
Submit your application early enough that we can review and, if approved, issue the award while you are still enrolled in the term it will support. Check each scholarship’s individual page for full eligibility criteria and required materials.
Annual scholarships (open once a year: January 5–March 2, 2026)
These scholarships accept applications only during the January–March window and typically support students who plan to begin their program in the summer or fall term. All applications received in this period are reviewed after the March 2 deadline, so there is no submission advantage to applying earlier in the window. Click a scholarship name on its page to view specific rules and submission requirements.
