Introductory information
The CBCF online scholarship portal opens each year on December 15 and remains available through March 1. Awards made through this process fund the next academic year. These scholarships are restricted to students who graduated from a high school located in the CBCF service area counties: Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio, or San Patricio. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Coastal Bend Community Foundation administers scholarships from more than 100 separate funds. Dulin — Cletis Dulin Memorial Scholarship
Purpose: Provide financial support to Refugio County students who have been active in 4‑H.
Award amount: Variable
Eligibility and requirements:
- Must be a member of a Refugio County 4‑H Club for a minimum of three years.
- Must have submitted a 4‑H Record Book during the current 4‑H year, or alternatively provide a completed copy of the 4‑H Opportunity Scholarship application.
- Must be a graduating high school senior.
- Must intend to enroll in a college or university immediately after high school graduation.
- No minimum GPA is specified; recipients are chosen by comparing applicants and their record books.
