Applicants are automatically considered for certain scholarships when their file is complete; no separate scholarship application is required for those automatic awards. Step Two: Meet the Deadlines

Step Three: Complete the FAFSA
Submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required to be considered for federal aid and many need-based scholarships. The fall priority deadline is mid-February; the spring priority deadline is at the start of October for both the FAFSA and the Federal Student Aid Estimator. The final federal deadline for the 2026–2027 academic year is June 30, 2027, but earlier submission speeds evaluation and award offers.
