Western Regional Chapter Scholarship

Introduction
Applicants must meet all of the following eligibility requirements to be considered for this Western region scholarship for the 2023–2024 academic year.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Korean Heritage
- Applicant must be of Korean ancestry — for example, having a parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent who is Korean, or having been adopted from Korea.
- Note: The Western region is not offering awards to descendants of Korean War veterans who are not themselves of Korean descent.
2. Enrollment Status
- Must be enrolled full time at an accredited school located in one of the Western region states during the 2023–2024 school year: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, or Washington.
3. Academic Standing
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required.
4. Financial Need
- Applicant must be able to substantiate a need for financial assistance.
