ISA Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by ISA Educational Foundation
ISA Scholarships are awarded to student members enrolled in a college or university who demonstrate outstanding potential for the fields of automation and control. The scholarship awards support tuition and related expenses and research activities and initiatives.
The ISA scholarship endowment was established in 2002 by voluntary contributions from ISA and significant support of ISA’s technical divisions. ISA’s members have long recognized the value in education, and awarding scholarships to deserving individuals is one of the ways we support ISA’s mission of empowering the global automation community through standards and knowledge sharing.
Recipients of awards are full-time college or university students in either a 2-year, 3- or 4-year Undergraduate or Graduate program with at least a passing average (“C”). Students should be enrolled in a full-time program in automation and control or a closely related field in the next calendar year after the award is granted.
Each scholarship is a one-time payment and is not paid annually to the recipient. However, a previous recipient may apply for another scholarship award.
Scholarships are awarded through ISA and the Huston, Wilbanks and Ives endowments. Students complete a single application and are considered for all scholarships in which they are eligible.
