Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, TAGT is able to provide over $30,000 in scholarships to students each year. We believe that by creating the right opportunities, we can ignite the minds that will find innovative solutions to the most complex problems of their time. These scholarships have the potential to transform a student's life.
THE ADELLE MCCLENDON YOUNG LEADER SCHOLARSHIP
This $2500 scholarship is awarded to a G/T high school senior who has shown exceptional leadership skills.
We ask that you submit an essay of 500 words or less, detailing: Your leadership experiences; Instances where you have made important decisions; Your ambitions and objectives for the university you wish to attend; Your community service involvement;
Any unique experiences or challenges you have overcome.
In addition, please submit a 250-word composition about a leader who has inspired you through their philosophy, contributions, or leadership style.
We also require a resume detailing your activities, awards, achievements, and public service experiences during high school.
Please upload a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher. If you prefer, you can have the recommendation emailed directly to TAGT at [email protected].
Finally, please upload a letter of recommendation from another adult who is not a relative. This too can be emailed directly to TAGT at [email protected] if preferred.
