CrossLites Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by CrossLites
The CrossLites Scholarship Competition is available to students at the High School, College, and Graduate School levels. As a participant, you are required to compose a reflective essay (400-600 words) inspired by one of Dr. Parker's quotes or messages. You will be competing with students at your academic level. Each participant is allowed to submit only one essay per year for the competition.
Eligibility:
There are no specific GPA or test score prerequisites to be eligible for the scholarship competition. Any student currently attending a high school, college, or graduate school is welcome to apply.
Ensure to review your essay thoroughly before submission, checking for any typographical errors, misspellings, and grammatical mistakes. The length of the essays should be within the range of 400 to 600 words.
If you are selected as one of the top 20 finalists, you are required to provide an official transcript. Failure to provide an official transcript confirming your current enrollment will result in disqualification from the competition – there will be no exceptions.
The panel of judges will evaluate each essay and select the top 20 from each level to be displayed on CrossLites.com. Participants then have the chance to invite others to read their essay and vote for them. Although votes only contribute to ten percent of the total score, they can serve as a crucial tie-breaker, given the increasing competitiveness of the essay quality. Once the voting period concludes, the winner will be announced.

There are three separate categories for each level (High School, Undergraduate, Graduate Students)
