New Mexico FB Scholarships

Overview
New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau (NMF&LB) will award three scholarships of $1,000 each to students pursuing education at a university, community college, trade school, or vocational program of their choosing. Applicants’ immediate family members must hold current membership in NMF&LB.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be related to a current NMF&LB member in their immediate family.
- Each person may receive this scholarship only once in their lifetime.
- No applicant will be excluded on the basis of sex, race, color, creed, or religious belief.
Required application materials
Include the following with your application:
- High school transcript to date. If already enrolled in college, include a college transcript.
- Documentation of SAT or ACT scores (if available).
- Two letters of recommendation.
- A copy of a current Farm Bureau membership card for the immediate family member.
- A recent photo (to be used for publicity purposes only).
- Ensure the application is typed or neatly printed in ink. You may attach additional pages if needed.
Academic standard
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
