National Alumni Association Crimson Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by National Alumni Association
The Alumni Scholarship Program's competitive scholarships require no previous affiliation with UA or the National Alumni Association. Scholarships are selected according to the strength of the "awards and experiences" section of their admission application; therefore, to be considered for any scholarship managed by the Alumni Scholarship Program, students must be admitted to UA and complete the Supplemental Scholarship Application via the myBama.ua.edu portal by January 15.
Crimson Scholarships typically pay:
A) Value of in-state or out-of-state tuition for 4 years
B) Plus an additional $3,500 per year for 4 years
C) $300 book grant each year for 4 years
D) $2,000 study abroad or summer research (to be used after one full academic year at UA)
Students from Madison County, Alabama, and the contiguous counties of Jackson, Limestone, Marshall, and Morgan, are given priority consideration for a Gowen or Steven Mitchell Crimson Scholarship and must submit a typed one-page narrative statement describing personal financial need.
