How to Apply
Applications are submitted through AWAF’s online system and require completed forms plus uploaded supporting documents. Applicants should review the scholarship guidelines before beginning and prepare all files in accepted formats and sizes. After submission, the system provides a brief on-screen confirmation; allow a few seconds for the confirmation to appear. If documents are missing or recommendations will be submitted separately, follow the instructions for supplemental materials.

Education Scholarship Guidelines
Eligibility requires acceptance to or enrollment in an accredited college or university, maintenance of a minimum 3.0 GPA during any scholarship-funded semester, and North American citizenship. Scholarship selection is application-based and may include interviews conducted by the AWAF Scholarship Committee. If a recipient cannot accept the award or their education is interrupted, the committee will review the status of the funds. Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, creed, religion, or national origin and are administered by the AWA Foundation Board of Directors.
Eligibility: Must be an enrolled or accepted student at an accredited institution, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be a North American citizen.

Required Documents

Required items include a one-page cover letter with your name, a resume up to two pages, academic transcripts, and an acceptance letter for high school seniors or transfer students not yet enrolled.
