iVein Health and Wellness Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Intermountain Vein Center
College life can be demanding and strenuous, often impacting the health and wellbeing of students. A study conducted by Auburn University tracked 131 students over a four-year college period and discovered that a staggering 70% of them gained weight by the time they graduated, with an average weight gain of 12 pounds and a maximum of 37 pounds. The percentage of students classified as overweight rose from 18% to 31%. The researchers also observed increases in body fat composition and waist circumference.
IVC (iVein.com), a reputable authority in the prevention and treatment of vein disease, recognizes the significance of adopting and maintaining healthy habits during the crucial college years. To encourage this, they are offering the iVein Health and Wellness Scholarship to students who are dedicated to lifelong healthy habits.
