Introduction
The Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation Scholarship was established to help students continue their education in sports-related disciplines at the post-secondary level. Its intent is to support study in areas such as athletic training, physical therapy, sports management, sports marketing, parks and recreation administration, and other related programs.
Eligible fields and programs
Awards may be used toward either two- or four-year programs and are valid at any accredited university, community college, vocational or technical school.
Award frequency
A minimum of one scholarship will be granted each year.
Who may apply
Applications are accepted from graduating high school seniors as well as students already enrolled in a post-secondary institution. Previous recipients of this scholarship are eligible to apply again.
Selection priority
Special consideration will be given to applicants who graduated from a high school in the South Puget Sound region.
