Ryan & Collin Petitte Memorial Scholarship Fund
Scholarship Sponsored by The Community Foundation of Mendocino County
Introduction
There are few tragedies more heartbreaking than the loss of Ryan and Collin Petitte, two much-loved graduates of Ukiah High School. Ryan passed unexpectedly in November 2003 from an extremely rare genetic disorder. His younger brother Collin had died from the same condition more than a year earlier. In their memory, friends and family established this program to help students pursuing careers that honor their interests and values.
Program purpose
The fund was created by the Petitte family and their friends to assist students planning careers in wildlife conservation, environmental resource management, environmental science, environmental engineering, or economics.
