Sussman-Miller Educational Assistance Fund

Scholarship Sponsored by Albuquerque Community Foundation

Value: $2,000
Awards Available: 11
Deadline : Apr 04, 2024

Throughout her life, Shirley Sussman Spiewak was involved with numerous educational and charitable organizations. She and her husband were passionate advocates of education, believing it to be “the one possession that is permanent.”

A fund was established in 1994 from their estates to provide financial assistance to students to further their education in an undergraduate program.

This program provides financial assistance to address the ‘gap’ in financial aid packages for both students graduating from high school and those continuing their education. Students who are just graduating from high school have different guidelines and application forms than students who have already completed at least one semester of undergraduate studies. Students working on a second undergraduate or graduate degree will not be considered.

To apply for financial assistance, please read through all of the instructions carefully, complete the appropriate application form, and submit all requested documents before the listed deadline.

Awards vary based on demonstrated need up to $8,000.

Spring Deadline: Thursday, April 4, 2024 5:00pm MST

For graduating high school seniors who will attend any out-of-state college or an in-state private school.

Summer Deadline: Thursday, June 6, 2024 5:00pm MST
