The Charlotte Ulland Scholarship Fund for Girls is to provide financial assistance for a female graduating high school senior from public high schools on Lake Superior's North Shore.
Application Instructions
Students should complete and submit in the DSACF Common Application by the deadline day. A complete application will also include an academic transcript (including standardized test scores), two recommendations and financial need documentation.
Selection Criteria
Application for this scholarship is available to young women who:
A) Will graduate from a local public high school including: Two Harbors High School, William Kelley High School and Cook County High School;
B) Have a high school grade point average of 3.0 or higher;
C) Intend to enroll in an accredited public college or university in Minnesota;
D) Are active participants or leaders in school and community activities; and
E) Have a measure of financial need, as determined by the selection committee.
Awards Granted from Fund
Two scholarships (of $1000/year), co-payable to the student and institution will be awarded each year. Generally, this annual award is divided into two installments- half for fall, half for spring. The award is renewable for four years, assuming proper academic progress (GPA of 2.5 or greater) is maintained.
