Shim Law, a full-service law firm based in Calgary, AB, created the Annual Shim Law Scholarship to support emerging leaders. For 2025 there will be two topic options available — applicants must choose one of those topics and produce an infographic in response.

Who is eligible
- Open to students enrolled at any Canadian or American university or college.
- Any program and any year of study are eligible.
- Winners will be selected based on how creative and informative their infographic addresses the chosen topic; submissions are evaluated by the Shim Law team.
What to submit
- An original infographic on one of the two provided topics (choose one).
- Proof of current enrolment at a Canadian or U.S. university or college.
- Include your full name, phone number, and mailing address.
How to apply
- Email your complete application to [email protected].
- Attach your infographic and proof of enrolment to the email.
- Use the subject line: Shim Law Scholarship 2025
- Applications must be received by June 30, 2025 at 12:00 AM (midnight). Late entries will not be accepted.
