North State Scholarship

Introduction
We are offering a $500 financial scholarship to one (1) deserving high school senior who intends to continue their education at an accredited two- (2) or four- (4) year postsecondary institution.
Eligibility
- Must be a resident of North Carolina.
- Must plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year postsecondary institution.
- Must have an unweighted grade point average of at least 3.0.
- Applicants must be 24 years of age or younger on the application deadline (i.e., must not have exceeded 24 years of age by the deadline).
- No felony convictions, no convictions for serious misdemeanors, and no pending criminal matters.
Required Application Materials
- A copy of the Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) Student Aid Report (SAR); information on this report will be taken into consideration.
- The most recent official high school and/or college transcripts.
- Four (4) letters of reference.
- SAT or ACT scores.
- Documentation or examples demonstrating active involvement in community, church, and/or school activities.
Award Distribution
- One (1) top applicant will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
- Two (2) additional top applicants will each receive $500.
