The FMAA Scholarship Program is an annual program offering college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have thoughtfully and creatively shared what the American flag means to them through original videos.
Traditionally, the American flag has been a symbol of patriotism, freedom, and democracy. The FMAA Manufacturer Members have a genuine interest in hearing the meaning the American flag holds for America’s youth. The FMAA Scholarship Program gives high school seniors an opportunity to express their feelings regarding the flag and their own views on patriotism, as well as raising awareness of the “Made in the USA” issue.
Eligibility:
Eligible applicants must be enrolled in college or vocational school (high school senior or older).
Considerations:
- Videos will be judged primarily on content and creativity by FMAA Board members.
- All videos will become FMAA property and may be shared on the website and on social media.
- Video must be original and created solely by the applicant and must not have previously been distributed publicly or won any award.
- The FMAA Board reserves the right to verify the validity of the video.
- Any entries not complying with these requirements will be disqualified.
