Overview

InspirASIAN provides scholarship funding to graduating high school seniors to help support their college education. The program awards national scholarships to students who reside in states with participating local InspirASIAN chapters, and all applicants are considered for national awards. Students who are not selected for national scholarships may be considered for state scholarships offered by local chapters. The initiative focuses on easing the financial transition to accredited postsecondary institutions in the fall following graduation.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all specified eligibility criteria to be considered for InspirASIAN scholarships. Requirements cover academic status and performance, citizenship or residency, and intent to enroll in postsecondary education. Specific documentation may be requested to verify GPA, graduation status, residency, and sponsorship where applicable. Meeting the minimum standards is required for award consideration.

High School Status & Academic Performance: Applicants must be full-time high school seniors graduating in Spring 2026, in good standing, with a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.40 on a 4.0 scale, and planning to attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university in Fall 2026.

Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Residency: Priority is given to students who live in the following states or locations: California; Georgia; Missouri State and East St. Louis, Illinois; Nevada; New Jersey; Texas; and Washington State. Applicants who do not live in one of the listed locations may be eligible if sponsored by an InspirASIAN member; the sponsoring member’s name should be provided on the application.
