The Colorado Restaurant Foundation, in collaboration with Foundation Scholarship Donors, provides scholarships to eligible students enrolled in foodservice or hospitality management programs. Applicants are required to have a proven interest in the foodservice or hospitality sector, substantiated by verifiable industry work experience.
Qualification Requirements:
- Applicants must be US citizens or hold permanent resident status.
- The scholarship must be used for a foodservice or hospitality related program at a recognized post-secondary institution or program within Colorado.
- Applicants must be enrolled or intend to enroll as a full-time student or a significant part-time student, taking at least 9 credit hours per term.
- Applicants must plan to be enrolled for a minimum of two consecutive semesters in the future.
- Applicants must have a minimum of six months of work experience in the industry.
- Scholarship recipients are required to attend the Scholarship Gala in Denver on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024
Submission Requirements:
- A fully filled out application, marking "N/A" where necessary.
- A resume of 1-2 pages.
- Transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities.
- Two recommendation letters, with at least one from a current or former employer.
