Tom Eaton Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Virginia Horticulture Foundation
Tom Eaton, a dedicated and invaluable contributor to the MAHSC board, is remembered through the Tom Eaton Scholarship. This scholarship, established in 2008, aims to alleviate the financial burden of education for one outstanding college student pursuing a degree in any field related to horticulture. The scholarship also provides a three-day pass to the subsequent year's MAHSC event. While attendance at the MAHSC is recommended, it is not compulsory. Travel expenses will be covered for recipients residing more than 50 miles away from the MAHSC. The scholarship funds will be directly transferred to the college to be credited to the student's account, while travel reimbursements will be paid directly to the scholarship recipient.
