Description: The Honors College at Georgia State administers the Stamps Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship, the university’s two most prestigious awards for incoming undergraduates. Eligibility
Eligibility: Applicants must be incoming first-year students planning to attend Georgia State in Fall 2027 and pursuing their first bachelor’s degree on the Atlanta campus. Transfer students are not eligible; dual enrollment is not considered a transfer. To be eligible for both the Stamps and Presidential Scholarships, applicants must be Georgia residents and qualify for either the HOPE or Zell Miller Scholarship. Out-of-state and international students are eligible only for the Presidential Scholarship.

Application Timeline: Applicants must submit the complete Stamps and Presidential Scholarship application by 11:59 p.m. EST on the stated deadline and submit a complete Georgia State University application (including high school transcripts) by the priority deadline in November. Recommenders must submit letters of recommendation by 11:59 p.m. on the application deadline. Finalists invited to Scholarship Day should plan to attend interviews in early Spring 2027; international students will have a virtual interview option. Those invited will receive details and instructions by mid‑February 2026, and the university will update the website with confirmed dates.
