Nevada Agricultural Foundation Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Nevada Agricultural Foundation
The Nevada Agricultural Foundation (NAF) annually grants Educational Assistance Awards exceeding $50,000 to meritorious students from Nevada. The Scholarship Committee will only consider applications from students who have demonstrated a commitment to pursuing an agricultural course of study.
Recipients of the award are required to enroll within the year of receiving the award (by the Fall semester) or risk losing it. If a student is unable to fulfill the award's requirements in any given year, the award will be revoked. However, the recipient can reapply once they are able to meet the requirements. NAF offers a variety of awards, with a minimum of $2000 per academic year for those receiving awards. Certain awards are limited to specific majors within the agricultural curriculum. It's important to note that applications must be postmarked by March 15.
Applicants are required to submit fully completed forms that adhere to the Application Checklist. Failure to sign the application or send the transcript will result in the elimination of otherwise qualified applicants. Successful applicants will be notified around April 10.
We welcome your assistance in disseminating this information to interested graduating high school students within your school(s), class, or organization.
