Hylan Family Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Hylan Dental Care
The Hylan Family Scholarship seeks to assist students pursuing further education who are passionate about the way they communicate with other people in the world and wish to make it a better place.
We hope that this scholarship can assist a worthy student in their prospective field(s) and allow them to contribute to society in a positive way.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for this scholarship award, the applicant must be attending college in the fall 2019 semester or quarter.
Applicants can be high school seniors or current college students.
The winner must provide documentation verifying that they will be a student for fall 2019 and provide proof that they will be furthering their education at an accredited community college, online college, or university.
Winners of this scholarship must be willing to provide a photo of them with the scholarship award to Dr. Brad Hylan's office for future promotion of the Hylan Family Scholarship.
Scholarship Amount
The winning applicant of the Hylan Family Scholarship will be awarded $2,500.
Applicants are judged on the quality of the essay submitted.
The award will be given to the student with the essay that is not only well written, but in our judgment is the most thoughtful and reveals the student with the most promise.
Application Process
Qualifying applicants will answer the essay question provided with a response between 500-750 words.
Applicants may upload their essay in Word or PDF format, or they may copy and paste it directly into the application form.
To be considered, you must submit the application and essay before the deadline.
