Purpose The Connex Foundation Scholarship exists to support individuals pursuing education and careers in skilled trades and multi-site facility management. The program aims to encourage students from high school, college, career-transitioning adults, re-entry students, and veterans to enter and advance within the multi-site facilities and construction-related industries by providing financial assistance. 2026 Scholarship Awards In 2026, the Connex Foundation will grant scholarships of up to $5,000 each to qualified candidates preparing for careers in skilled trades (for example: electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, carpentry), construction, and facility management. Awards are open to deserving applicants from Canada and the United States. Application deadline Completed applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM CT on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Eligibility Requirements - Be a citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States or Canada. - Be at minimum a graduating high school senior (or have equivalent certification such as a GED). - Intend to enroll as a full-time student. - Hold a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent on a Canadian grading scale). - Demonstrate a record of extracurricular involvement, community service, and/or work experience. Terms and Conditions for Applicants You must agree to the following conditions to apply: 1. The application must be completed personally by the applicant. Parents, guardians, counselors, teachers or others may provide information or review the application, but may not fill it out on the applicant’s behalf. Applications completed by anyone other than the applicant will be disqualified. 2. To the best of your knowledge, you must not be the spouse, child, step-child, grandchild or step-grandchild of any person currently employed by the Connex Foundation, serving on the Connex Foundation Scholars Committee, or sitting on the Connex Foundation Board of Directors. 3. Information you provide will be reviewed by staff and volunteer reviewers. Contact details are hidden from volunteer reviewers, but other identifying information, including your name, may be visible. Reviewers are instructed to treat applicant information as confidential and to discuss applications only with fellow committee members as required. 4. All information and supporting documents submitted (transcripts, etc.) must be accurate and truthful. Knowingly withholding or misrepresenting facts may result in disqualification or revocation of an award. 5. All application materials must be submitted by the deadline: 11:59 PM CT, Sunday, February 15, 2026. 6. Award decisions are made on a rolling basis. Applicants can expect to be notified of outcomes by approximately May 15, 2026. 7. Scholarship funds, if awarded, will be paid directly to the financial aid office of the educational institution where you enroll. The funds will be posted to your student account and applied to tuition, room and board, books, fees, and/or other eligible educational expenses; specifics will be included in your award notification. 8. The Connex Foundation reserves the right to modify or rescind scholarship awards at its discretion under certain circumstances. 9.
