This scholarship seeks to help someone who suffered or suffers from a brain disorder or disease. The personal injury lawyers at the Law Offices of Jason Turchin have represented many victims who suffered from traumatic brain injury, and have family members with various medical issues. Whether you suffered from a brain tumor, hydrocephalus, stroke, or brain injury, how you overcome the diagnosis and fight to succeed helps shape who you are. The Brain Power Scholarship provides a $500.00 award to the winner, which will be paid directly to the winner to help with his or her educational needs, including books or tuition.

The current open submission period is for Fall 2019! Applications must be received on or by July 12, 2019.

Scholarship Eligibility Details and Guidelines

A) You must have been diagnosed with a brain tumor, hydrocephalus, stroke, or suffered a brain injury during your lifetime in order to qualify.

B) To receive scholarship funds, you must be at least 18 years of age and living in the United States (with a U.S. mailing address) at the time of the scholarship's due date.

C) All applicants must be attending or plan on attending for their first year of college or graduate school in the United States.

D) As proof of your first-year status, you will need to submit a digital copy of your acceptance on college on letterhead from that college.

E) All applications for the current semester are due by July 12, 2019.
