Van Cleave Law is committed to securing justice for our clients, regardless of their circumstances. As part of our commitment to justice and fostering the success of future generations, Van Cleave Law has been proudly sponsoring The Striving for Justice Scholarship since 2019. This opportunity is extended to students who are either currently attending or planning to attend college in the United States. The Scholarship is granted to the eligible student who can best demonstrate their commitment to standing up for others and advocating for justice in their local community. Applicants should outline in their essay the forms of injustice they are combating in their local community and how others can participate.
The recipient of the Striving for Justice Scholarship will be selected based on the criteria detailed below and will receive $1,000 to assist with their educational expenses.
Eligibility for the Scholarship
The following are the eligibility criteria for The Striving for Justice Scholarship:
- Applicants should be currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program within the United States.
- Applicants should have a current GPA of at least 3.0.
- Applicants are required to submit an essay of no more than 1,000 words, detailing how they advocate for others and fight for justice in their local community.
Application Process
A complete application for this scholarship should include:
- A Resume with current contact information.
- A current academic transcript (cumulative GPA should be clearly visible).
- An essay of 1000 words or less.
