Introduction
The Law Offices of Joseph J. Bogdan, Inc. focuses on defending the licenses and certifications of healthcare professionals — including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and others. Our founder, Joseph Bogdan, is a registered pharmacist in Illinois and knows firsthand the time, effort, and financial commitment required to earn a healthcare degree.
Scholarship Overview
We are awarding a $1,000 Healthcare Professional Scholarship to help a student pursuing a healthcare career that requires a professional license. The grant may be used for tuition and related educational expenses at the college, university, or program the recipient attends.
Who Is Eligible
To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. undergraduate or graduate program and remain enrolled through at least Fall 2026, with the goal of earning a degree that leads to professional healthcare licensure. Eligible fields include, but are not limited to:
- Medical and pre-medical programs
- Pharmacy and pre-pharmacy programs
- Nursing and nurse practitioner programs
- Physician assistant programs
Additional Requirements
Applicants must also meet all of the following:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
Application Materials
Submit a 90-second video answering the question:
How Will This Scholarship Benefit Or Help to Further Your Education?
Along with the video, provide the following via the submission form:
- Full name and date of birth
- Phone number and email address
- Mailing address
- Academic transcript and proof of current enrollment
- A professional photograph
Selection Process (Fall 2026)
One award recipient will be chosen for Fall 2026. Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Thoughtfulness and originality in the video
- Clarity and organization of the video content
- Fulfillment of the eligibility requirements
Notification and Award Distribution
The selected recipient will be notified by July 8, 2026. The $1,000 award will be sent directly to the recipient’s educational institution. By accepting the scholarship, recipients agree to allow the firm to use their name, photograph, and submitted materials on our website and in other marketing communications.
