Key Thinkers Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by MoneyKey
The Key Thinkers Scholarship ("Scholarship") is a financial award of $1,000 USD, given twice annually to one (1) deserving student ("Recipient") who has demonstrated exceptional academic prowess. The Scholarship, sponsored by MoneyKey, is awarded to two (2) Recipients each academic year. It is open to post-secondary students who have shown remarkable academic achievement and is a platform for students to contribute to the expanding dialogue on financial responsibility.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For a student to qualify for the Scholarship, they must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold US citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Be a full-time student at an accredited post-secondary institution in the United States, such as a college, university, or trade school.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (note: this also applies to incoming post-secondary students).

*Applications submitted from October 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, will be evaluated for the forthcoming Spring academic term.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Essay:
Applicants for the Key Thinkers Scholarship are required to write an essay addressing the following question:
What is your understanding of financial responsibility, and what strategies should students employ to manage their budget?
Important points to note:
- The essay should be written in English.
- The essay should be between 500 and 750 words.
- The content of the essay must be unique and must not violate any third-party rights, including copyright or trademarks.
- The essay should not include any offensive or hateful language.
