At the Law Office of Shane R. Kadlec, we serve and represent individuals who suffer injuries after serious accidents. Our team understands the important role public service plays in an individual's physical, emotional, and financial recovery. With the Law Office of Shane R. Kadlec Public Service Scholarship, we want to support college students who are pursuing a career in public service and are passionate about helping others.

Each semester, we offer two scholarship awards in the amount of $2,000 each to students who strive to become better public servants. The funds can be used for tuition and other educational expenses at a university or college in the United States.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

To be eligible for a Spring 2024 Law Office of Shane R. Kadlec Public Service Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

• You are enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university for the Spring 2024 semester
• You are a U.S. citizen
• You are at least 18 years old
• You are pursuing a career in public service such as law, social work, government, non-profit, or education

How Do I Apply?

Your application should include a one-page (approximately 500 words) essay response to the following prompt:

• What in your life has inspired you to pursue a career in public service?
• How will obtaining a higher education help you to become a better public servant?

In addition to your essay, we ask that you submit proof of enrollment at an accredited U.S. college or university, contact information, and a professional photograph of yourself (headshot must be a JPEG file).
