The Quirk Law Ventura County Community Scholarship is available to high school seniors who reside in Ventura County and will be attending college in the fall.

Eligibility requirements:

Whether you are homeschooled or attend a high school in Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, or anywhere in Southern Ventura County, you are welcome to apply for the scholarship.

We ask that all applicants:

  • Be a graduating high school senior
  • Be a resident of Ventura County, California
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Submit an essay of approximately 500 words discussing the following:

Car accidents can have a profound impact on a victim’s life. They can result in physical injuries, but also leave mental scars. Either way, it takes resilience to move forward. For this year’s scholarship, we would like to extend the scholarship opportunity to those who have shown resilience after a car accident. Please share, in approximately 500 words, how the accident changed your life and how you overcame the struggles after it.

Award: One student will be awarded $1,000; nonrenewable to be paid directly to the college or university admissions office.

The deadline to apply is May 30, 2024. A winner will be contacted by us directly in June 2024. Scholarship winners will be added to this web page.
