Mission The Clarkston Scholars initiative aims to remove barriers and expand opportunity for low-income, first-generation college students, with the goal of nurturing future stewards connected to Clarkston. About the 2026 Clarkston Scholars Program We are accepting applications for the 2026 Clarkston Scholars Program. The application deadline is February 6, 2026. (See the application link below.) The program will fund one student who meets all eligibility criteria. The award provides $10,000 total—paid as $5,000 in the junior year and $5,000 in the senior year—to a sophomore enrolled in an accredited four-year undergraduate program at a qualifying institution. Beyond financial support, the program pairs the recipient with Clarkston mentors and access to our broader steward and client network to foster professional growth and clarify career interests. Who a Clarkston Scholar Is A Clarkston Scholar is a motivated, high-achieving, first-generation college student with demonstrated financial need, a strong academic record, and an interest in consulting or in the consumer products, life sciences, or retail sectors. Selection emphasizes both merit and need, and looks for candidates who will benefit from mentoring and networking opportunities with Clarkston professionals. Eligibility Requirements To apply, students must meet all of the following: - Be a college sophomore enrolled at an accredited four-year institution - Be a first-generation college student and demonstrate financial need (based on the EFC from the FAFSA) - Show interest in consulting and/or the consumer products, life sciences, or retail industries - Not be related to any current or former Clarkston Consulting employees - Be willing to take part in a mentorship program with Clarkston representatives (approximately 1–2 hours per month) Application and Selection Process Only applicants who satisfy every eligibility requirement will be considered for the scholarship.
