SC HOSA Scholarship Program

Scholarship Sponsored by South Carolina HOSA

Value: $1,500.00
Awards Available: 18

The SC HOSA Scholarship Program offers financial aid to deserving SC HOSA members who intend to pursue further studies in health science education programs beyond high school. The deadline for scholarship applications coincides with the submission of state leadership conference (SLC) registration materials each year.

In 2023, twenty exceptional students were granted scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,500 to support their post-secondary education. The quantity and value of scholarships fluctuate annually, and there's no cap on the number of applications a chapter can submit.

Starting in 2024, all scholarship awardees must be present at the SLC to receive their scholarships on stage. Attendance at the SLC is mandatory for recipients to claim their awards. The scholarship program is made possible by the generous contributions of our sponsors.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • The scholarship is open to high school seniors or any post-secondary students who intend to continue or advance their education in the healthcare sector.
  • The candidate must be currently pursuing a healthcare pathway.

Applications sent via mail or fax will NOT be accepted.

Incomplete and late submissions will NOT be considered.

  • A designated scholarship selection committee will review all applications. The committee will make the final decision on all scholarship awards.
  • The quantity and value of scholarships fluctuate annually.
  • The SC HOSA scholarship winners will be announced at the state leadership conference (SLC).
