To help bring talented candidates into the CPA profession, SCACPA awards dozens of scholarships each year to students attending South Carolina colleges or universities.
Scholarships generally range from $500 to $2,500 and are awarded to juniors or seniors majoring in accounting or those pursuing a master’s degree.
For the 2024-25 academic year, the SCACPA Educational Fund Trustees awarded $88,000 to 51 exceptional Student Members representing 12 different South Carolina colleges and universities.
Eligibility Requirements
- Rising junior or senior majoring in accounting (or Master’s Degree student) at a South Carolina college or university
- Full-time student
- At least one class in intermediate accounting or the equivalent
- GPA of no less than 3.00 overall
- GPA in accounting no less than 3.0
