Eligibility
Applicants must be enrolled in a college, university, or post-secondary institution for the 2027–28 academic year and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Technical/Vocational degree. Eligible majors include science, technology, engineering, arts/architecture, and mathematics; the program also includes education majors who plan to teach STEM. Candidates should demonstrate leadership potential, commitment to positive impact, or perseverance in overcoming barriers to education and career goals. The selection emphasizes demonstrated impact and potential rather than background or demographics.

Award Details
Stantec awards a total of $200,000 in scholarships each year, with individual awards varying based on applicants’ articulated needs. Award amounts range from $1,500 to $10,000 per recipient. In addition to monetary awards, the program offers up to ten paid internships annually, with locations confirmed each year. Award decisions consider both financial need and demonstrated potential for impact in the applicant’s field or community.

Institution Requirements & Disbursement
Recipients may attend any accredited two- or four-year public or private post-secondary institution on a full-time basis. The institution must maintain a regular faculty and curriculum and have a regularly enrolled student body at the location where educational activities occur. All recipients must remain full-time each semester and work toward an undergraduate degree to retain eligibility. Scholarship funds will be issued to the recipient’s institution, with disbursement scheduled for Summer 2027.
