Eligibility & Scholarship Amount
The scholarship is open to all students who are enrolled, or due to be enrolled, full-time at an accredited college or university for the semester they are seeking the scholarship.
- There is no minimum GPA requirement for applicants.
- Domestic, international, and undocumented students are all eligible to apply.
- Graduate students are also eligible for this scholarship.
- Students enrolled in online universities are welcome to apply.
Application Process
Applicants are required to submit an essay of 800 to 1500 words on the topic of mentorship, addressing the following questions:
- How do you think mentorship can benefit future generations?
- Have you ever been a mentor or a mentee?
- How has that experience impacted your life?
Feel free to include experiences from Big Brother or Big Sister programs, influential teachers or role-models, and any other relationships that have positively impacted your life.
Please provide proof of enrollment or an acceptance letter from an accredited university. We will accept a recent transcript, acceptance letter, or tuition bill.
Please Note: If you are in the process of applying for colleges and universities, please indicate your current school and submit a document with the schools you have currently applied to. If you are selected for the scholarship, we will ask you to provide proof of enrollment for your college or university at that time.
