Overview
Founded in 1988, the Pilot International Scholarship offers financial aid to undergraduate students who are preparing for careers focused on working with youth and young adults in leadership and development, supporting people and promoting brain safety and health, or providing care for families during periods of need.
Who is eligible
- Graduating high school seniors and students enrolled full-time in undergraduate programs. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment for the entire period the scholarship is held.
- Candidates whose career objectives align with Pilot International’s mission: (1) leadership and development work with youth and young adults, (2) helping others and advocating for brain safety and health, or (3) assisting families in times of need.
- Selections are made based on community service, demonstrated financial need, academic performance, and the strength of the application materials.
Key details
- Awards cover one academic year.
- A recipient may reapply and receive the Pilot International Scholarship for up to three (3) additional years (i.e., a student may be granted the award for a maximum of four total years).
- Award amounts vary by year but will not exceed $1,500.00 per academic year.
