Scholarship Information
Scholarship recipients must enroll full time at an accredited college or university and maintain specified minimum grade averages. Recipients are required to provide academic records, notify the AGA of changes in enrollment or contact information, and may need to sign releases permitting the AGA to receive academic reports. Extensions for delayed graduation must be requested and approved by the AGA Scholarship Committee. Participation in AGA events is encouraged but not mandatory.
Requirements: Recipients must be enrolled full time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester unless prior written permission is granted), maintain a minimum GPA (C+ first year, B- thereafter), remain an Alabama resident through graduation, and provide timely academic and enrollment information to the AGA Manager of Golf Operations and Championships.
Revocation & Compliance: Scholarships may be revoked if the recipient no longer demonstrates financial need or fails to comply with AGA Scholarship policies; recipients should report transfers, withdrawals, or other status changes immediately.
Confidentiality: All submitted information will be kept strictly confidential by the AGA staff and Scholarship Committee.
