Introductory statement The Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund is dedicated to helping Hispanic/Latino students in Central Florida complete their undergraduate degrees. By awarding scholarship support and closing gaps in student services, professional development, and networking opportunities, the Fund’s aim is to increase the number of Central Florida Hispanic/Latino students who successfully graduate from college. Eligibility To be considered for the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship applicants must: - Be of Hispanic/Latino heritage. - Hold a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) — this requirement applies to both high school seniors and current undergraduate students. - Intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree and plan to be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) at one of the designated institutions for both the fall and spring terms of the upcoming scholarship year. Application period and materials Applications will be accepted beginning January 27, 2025 and must be submitted by February 27, 2025. The scholarship committee must receive your official transcripts and letters of recommendation as part of the application packet. Submissions that include only unofficial documents or that arrive after the February 27 deadline will be considered incomplete and therefore ineligible for review.
