NATAS College/Graduate Scholarships

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' (NATAS) Chicago/Midwest Chapter is planning to offer between two and five scholarships, each ranging from $4,000 to $6,000, for the 2024-25 academic year.
These scholarships are intended for students who are currently enrolled in a College or University and will reach senior level in a bachelor’s degree program by the Fall term of 2024, or those who will be enrolled in a graduate degree program during the same term.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the Area of Dominant Influence (ADI) of the television markets covered by the Chicago/Midwest chapter of NATAS. Alternatively, applicants can qualify if their primary residence is within the ADI of these television markets, or if they are a relative of a member in good standing of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Television Academy. The television markets under the jurisdiction of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter include: Chicago, IL; Peoria-Bloomington, IL; Rockford, IL; Green Bay-Appleton, WI; Madison, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Wausau-Rhinelander, WI; and South Bend-Elkhart, IN.
- Applicants must either reach senior level in a bachelor’s degree program by the fall term of 2024 or be enrolled in a graduate degree program during the same term.
- Applicants must be able to show that their course of study aligns with their goal of pursuing a career in the television industry.
