NATAS High School Scholarships

Overview
The Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is actively engaged with students across its region. Through its nonprofit charitable arm, the NATAS Chicago Foundation (a 501(c)(3)), the Chapter awards up to $36,000 in scholarships annually. In addition to these scholarships, the Chapter runs both college and high school award programs and maintains an active Junior Board composed of students and early-career professionals.
2025–26 High School Scholarships
For the 2025–26 academic year the Chicago/Midwest Chapter expects to award between one and four scholarships of $2,500 each. These awards are intended for high school seniors who will begin college in Fall 2025.
Purpose
The Board created these scholarships to support and encourage talented high school seniors planning to attend post-secondary institutions and pursuing careers in the television industry.
Deadline
Applications must be received by Sunday, March 16, 2025.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a high school senior graduating in Spring 2025.
- Demonstrate a planned course of study at a college or university that aligns with a career goal in the television industry.
- Meet one of the location or membership criteria below:
- Be enrolled in a high school located within the ADI (area of dominant influence) of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter’s television markets; or
- Have a primary residence (home address) within the Chapter’s ADI; or
- Be a relative of a member in good standing of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Television Academy.
