Program Administration
Scholarship America® administers the Chick-fil-A Community Scholars Program and provides scholarship-design and program-management services for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. The program sponsor sets eligibility criteria and makes final determinations for individual awards. Scholarship America’s evaluation team reviews eligible applications and manages application processing and assessment. The administrator facilitates the program but does not override sponsor-specific eligibility decisions.
Description: Scholarship America® is the manager and evaluator for the program; sponsors determine eligibility and award decisions while Scholarship America conducts application reviews and program operations.

Eligibility
The Chick-fil-A Community Scholars Program sets specific applicant requirements including age, residency, current educational status, planned enrollment, community involvement, and academic standing. Applicants must be 18 by July 15, 2027, and reside in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or Canada at the time of application and award. Eligible applicants include high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who plan to enroll full time for the 2027–2028 academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, vocational-technical school, or CEGEP. Candidates must demonstrate community service or leadership in the 12 months before the deadline, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent), and be willing to participate in the one-year Chick-fil-A Scholars Program if selected.
Eligibility:
- Be 18 years of age by July 15, 2027
- Currently reside in the United States, Puerto Rico, or Canada at time of application and award
- Be a current:
- High school senior/student in their final year of upper or higher secondary school
- College/university undergraduate
- Graduate student
- Plan to enroll full time for the 2027–2028 academic year at an accredited two-year or four-year college/university, vocational-technical school, or CEGEP
- Be involved in community service, extracurricular activities, and/or hold a leadership role in the 12 months prior to the application deadline
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
- Be willing to participate in the Chick-fil-A Scholars Program (a one-year engagement with mentoring and leadership development alongside the $25k Remarkable Futures Scholars), if selected
Exclusions: Chick-fil-A employees and dependents/spouses of employees or Operators are not eligible to apply.

- Participation in the Chick-fil-A Scholars Program is expected if selected
- Employees of Chick-fil-A and their immediate family members are excluded
