Overview
Larry E. Sitzman is a lifelong advocate for agriculture, public service, and leadership. Inspired by John F. Kennedy’s call to civic duty, he pursued roles that combined agricultural expertise with service to his community and country. His career included leadership on state and national agricultural boards, appointment as Nebraska’s Director of Agriculture in 1991, and service as Executive Director of the Nebraska Pork Producers Association until 2016. He continues to serve as an active volunteer leader at the Veterans Administration in Lincoln.
