Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Scholarship

Annually, Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association offers scholarships. One $1,500 4-year or university scholarship is awarded in each of Equity’s 10 districts, as well as six general $1,000 technical college scholarships. Students applying must have completed two or more semesters at a 4-year or university college, or at least one semester at a technical college. High School Seniors are not eligible. The student must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above, on a 4.0 scale. Either the student, their parent(s) or grandparents(s) must be an active shipping member of employee of Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association.
ELIGIBILITY:
Any student who has not previously received an Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association scholarship. Any student who has completed two or more semesters at an accredited college or university, or any student who has completed at least one semester at a technical college. High School Seniors are not eligible. The student must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above, on a 4.0 scale. Either the student, their parent(s) or grandparent(s) must be an active shipping member or employee of Equity
Cooperative Livestock Sales Association.
PLEASE INCLUDE:
- Application found on our website.
- An unofficial or official transcript of your college, university or technical school.
- A copy of your spring course schedule.
- One letter of reference.
AWARDS:
- Ten winners will be awarded a $1,500 4-year college or university scholarship. (One in each of Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association’s districts.)
- Six winners will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship for a technical college.
