Description
This program recognizes veterans who have transitioned to serving as Technology and Engineering teachers. It supports veterans who are currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate teacher education programs as well as in-service Technology and Engineering teachers with fewer than five years of experience. The award highlights commitment to student learning and the professional development of teachers with military backgrounds. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply to receive recognition for their service and contributions to education.

Eligibility
Eligible nominees must have current or prior service in the Armed Forces and meet the program's academic and professional criteria. Self-nominations are accepted, and nominees must be members of ITEEA. Candidates should be enrolled in a nationally accredited institution pursuing a Technology and Engineering teacher education degree, or be current Technology and Engineering teachers with five or fewer years of experience. Nominees are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Eligibility: Military service (current or prior), ITEEA membership, enrollment in a nationally accredited program or in-service teaching with ≤5 years, and GPA ≥ 3.0.

Required Materials
Nominations must include supporting documentation submitted at the time of nomination. Required materials consist of two letters of recommendation that may be military, community, or professional in nature. Nominees must also provide their college transcript and proof of current or prior Armed Forces status. Incomplete submissions that omit any of these items may not be considered.
