NYSSPA Scholarships
NYSSPA annually awards multiple scholarships to Physician Assistants and PA students to support their education and professional development. Recipients receive financial assistance and complimentary registration to the annual CME Conference, where they are recognized at the Clara Vanderbilt Gala. These awards are intended to foster future PA leaders and advocates across New York. Selection is managed by a scholarship committee that evaluates complete application packets.

PA Student Scholarships
Each year NYSSPA awards three scholarships specifically for PA students, designed to support academic progression and professional growth. Each scholarship provides $2,000 to the recipient. In alignment with NYSSPA’s mission, scholarship recipients may request a mentorship session with a current NYSSPA Board Member or Committee Chair. Applicants must submit complete application packets for committee review.
Description: Three scholarships awarded annually to NYSSPA PA student members, with optional mentorship from NYSSPA leadership.
Award Value: Three scholarships of $2,000 each.
Eligibility:
- Open to any current NYSSPA PA student member
- Must be enrolled in an ARC-PA accredited PA program in the state of New York
- Must be at the graduate level or in the post-bachelor phase of PA education
- Previous NYSSPA scholarship recipients are not eligible
- NYSSPA Board Members and Committee Chairs are not eligible
Application Process: Only complete application packets will be evaluated by the scholarship committee.
