Marsha Martin Scholarship

Introduction
Texas Farm Credit will award twelve $5,000 postsecondary scholarships to rising leaders in agriculture. These awards are presented in memory of Marsha Pyle Martin of Paris, Texas, who died in 2000 after a 30-year career with Farm Credit. A tireless supporter of young people and the agricultural community, Martin was a trailblazer for women in the industry and served as the first female chairman and CEO of the Farm Credit Administration.
Eligibility
To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a high school senior scheduled to graduate in 2026 (children of Texas Farm Credit employees or directors are not eligible)
- Be an active member of FFA or 4-H
- Live within Texas Farm Credit’s 101-county service territory
- Provide a current high school transcript (official or unofficial accepted)
- Submit a completed 2026 scholarship application (incomplete submissions will not be reviewed)
- Include a resume that lists honors and accomplishments
- Attach an essay (see the application for the essay prompt and requirements)
- Ensure the completed application packet is received by January 15, 2026
