Conrad Spirrison Memorial Scholarship

Overview Established in 2022, the Conrad Spirrison Memorial Scholarship offers financial support to an undergraduate student pursuing a career in education. The scholarship honors Dr. Conrad Spirrison — a lifelong learner who became an educator and administrator and who actively supported Pilot International’s work for many years. He was the father of Holly Baker and served as Co-Pilot to Sophia Spirrison, both members of the Midwest District. His family funds this award in his memory. Eligibility - Applicants may be graduating high school seniors and/or full-time undergraduate students. At the time the application is submitted, candidates must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at a college or university in the United States or Canada. Recipients must remain enrolled full time for the scholarship period. - Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.0 on a 5.0 scale) is required at application and must be maintained. - Applicants must be preparing for a career in education. - Selection takes into account community service, demonstrated financial need, academic achievement, and the strength of the application materials. Award details - Awards are provided for one academic year. - Payment amounts vary but will not exceed $1,000 for the year. - One scholarship is granted annually.
