All scholarships below share the same application deadline: 02/28/2026, unless otherwise noted. Each listing includes the award amount, who is eligible, and any school- or region-specific restrictions.

Available scholarships

- AATCC Corporate Member Scholarship — $1,000
- For employees of AATCC corporate member companies and/or their children. Award applies to the Fall semester.

- Charles E. Gavin III Family Scholarship (Auburn University) — $8,000
- For rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors enrolled at Auburn University.

- Charles E. Gavin III Family Scholarship (Georgia Institute of Technology) — $6,000
- For rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors attending Georgia Tech.

- Charles H. Stone Scholarship — Five awards of $10,000 each
- Available to juniors and seniors at North Carolina State University and Clemson University.

- Darsey Family Scholarship — $4,000
- For undergraduate juniors and seniors, as well as graduate students, who are enrolled in textile- or fashion-related programs at U.S. universities.

- Delaware Valley Section Scholarship — $500
- For undergraduate students located in the AATCC Delaware Valley Section (DE, MD, NJ, PA).

- Gordon & Marjorie Osborne Scholarship — Two awards of $6,000 each
- Supports students pursuing textile engineering, textile chemistry, textile science, or closely related fields.

- Kanti & Hansa Jasani Family Scholarship — Three awards of $1,000 each (per academic year)
- For Indian students (Indian citizens holding student visas) attending a U.S. university. Open to both undergraduate and graduate students.

- Martin J. Bide University of Rhode Island Scholarship — $4,000
- For undergraduate students studying Textile, Fashion, Merchandising, and Design at the University of Rhode Island.

- Metro Scholarship — Two awards of $4,000 each
- For students attending schools in New England, New York, or New Jersey.

- National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO) Paul T. O’Day Scholarship — $5,000
- For students who have at least one parent or guardian employed by an NCTO member company or organization.

- Piedmont Section Scholarship — $3,000
- For students enrolled at institutions within the AATCC Piedmont Section (VA, WV, NC, SC).

- Textile Chemistry Scholarship — $2,000
- For undergraduates studying textile chemistry, polymer or color chemistry, or closely related topics.

- Textile Design Scholarship — $2,000
- For undergraduate students focusing on textile design or related subjects.

- Textile Merchandising Scholarship — $2,000
- For undergraduate students in textile merchandising, management, retail, or related programs.

- Varley Family Textile Technology Scholarship — Two awards of $5,000 each
- Supports students pursuing textile-related studies at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) or Cornell University.

- West Scholarship — $4,000
- For undergraduate students studying textile- or fashion-related subjects at colleges/universities located in states covered by the AATCC California, Northwest, Midwest, and Pacific sections.

- Woodruff Textile Manufacturing Scholarship — $3,500
- The Percy W. Woodruff Jr. Textile Manufacturing Scholarship for a non-traditional undergraduate student at Clemson University.

Application requirements
All applications must include the following materials (individual scholarships may have additional or specific requirements—check each award’s description before submitting):

- Resume or a letter summarizing work experience (include internships)
- A copy of your most recent academic transcript(s)
- A personal statement describing goals, aspirations, financial need, and career intentions after graduation (when applicable, follow any specific prompts for the scholarship you are applying to)
- Some scholarships additionally require a faculty letter of recommendation
