Hawaii State FCU Scholarship

The Hawaii Community Foundation has once again been chosen to manage the Hawaii State FCU Scholarship Program. Applications are accepted through the Hawaii Community Foundation website.
Award
- Twenty (20) recipients will each receive up to $5,000.
Who is eligible
- Hawaii State FCU members and their dependents.
- Enrollment at a fully accredited university, college, or trade/vocational school for the 2026–2027 academic year is required.
- Applicants must show financial need.
- Enrollment may be full- or part-time as defined by the school’s financial aid office.
- Open to students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Required documents
- Most recent unofficial transcript.
- 2026–2027 FAFSA Financial Summary (FSS).
- A list of accomplishments and community service activities.
- Letters of recommendation (optional).
How to apply
- Begin your application by signing in to the Scholarship Manager on the Hawaii Community Foundation website and starting the 2026–2027 HCF Common Scholarship Application.
- Important: To be considered for the Hawaii State FCU Scholarship, you must list Hawaii State FCU as your affiliation in the “Organization/Association Affiliation” field of the HCF Common Application. If you are a dependent of a member, include the member’s name and your relationship in the “Details” field.
Deadline
- Submit the completed application and all supporting materials by Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time.
