Eligibility
Eligibility is limited to undergraduate students enrolled in land surveying, geomatics engineering, or closely related programs at California-based colleges or universities. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum academic standard and an intention to pursue a transportation-related land surveying career. Citizenship or documented immigration status is required for applicants.
Eligibility: Candidates must meet the academic, program, career-intent, and residency/status requirements listed below.
- Enrollment in an undergraduate land surveying/geomatics or closely related program at a California institution.
- Minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.5 (use high school GPA for freshmen).
- Intent to pursue a transportation-related career in land surveying; open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or documented international students.
Application Materials
Applications must include official documentation to verify academic standing and program enrollment, along with evaluative materials such as a faculty recommendation and an essay. Transcripts should be official and sealed, covering the spring semester/quarter prior to the scholarship year; freshmen must submit an official high school transcript. Complete and legible electronic or typed materials are expected, as handwritten submissions and essays are not accepted.
